"I just wanted to offer thanks again to you, and all of the other Ocean Ed. staff for one of the best experiences and summers of my life. Please pass on my thanks to all who were involved as every aspect of the three weeks was perfect. The class work and labs were so interesting and interactive I often forgot that I was doing a high school course and found myself excited to go to class in the morning (something I have not felt since I was able to look forward to playing with building blocks and nap time). The diving was also so much fun and Chris was a phenomenal teacher. I feel far more competent underwater and am excited to continue diving with my uncle. And finally I loved the excursions (especially the one to the Pacific Fleet Diving Unit) and I think they all really added to the course. In the end, I learned so much, met so many great people, became a far better diver and just had an all around fantastic time. On top of all of that, this course also helped me to better understand what I want to do after I leave high school and really encouraged me to continue with my plans of going to university for environmental science/studies. Everyone began to miss the course as soon as we got home and I'm pretty sure every single student would return to Pearson College for a second year in a heart beat. In my opinion this program was practically perfect and I loved it so much. I cannot think of any other way I would have prefered to spend my summer than out in BC with the Ocean Ed Program. Again, a huge thank you to everyone involved in the 2010 Ocean Ed. program!"

"During the March break, my parents, and some family friends and I went on a Caribbean cruise. I had the opportunity to go SCUBA diving in St. Thomas. I realized how lucky I was to have had the opportunity to dive at Race Rocks with Ocean Ed., because although there were many colourful fish in the Caribbean (and it was much warmer!), there were not nearly as many things to see as there had been at Race Rocks. And once in the water, I was happy to realize that I had a lot more training than any one else. Perhaps what I am trying to say is thank you for allowing me to have the experience of a lifetime. I wanted to let you know that I think about my stay with Ocean Ed all the time and I hope that one day I will be able to visit Race Rocks again...actually, I know I will."
